Join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals, a joyful, intergenerational service honoring the creatures who share our lives and our world. Whether they curl up beside us at night, greet us at the door, swim, slither, fly, or live in our hearts as cherished memories, animals are part of our story of love and connection.
All are welcome to bring a well-behaved, leashed, or safely contained animal – or a photo, drawing, or symbol of an animal you love. We will have a remembering table for our pets who have passed on, and all of our companions are welcome in body or spirit. Together, we will offer gratitude, gentle blessings, and reminders of our shared responsibility to care for one another and the wider web of life. Come celebrate companionship, curiosity, and the sacred bond between humans and animals.
James Chase, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, and our Fellowship’s Youth will help facilitate this service. Jeff Stevens serves as worship associate, and Tane’ DeKrey provides music.
