Pollinator Garden Work & Learn Session – Sat. Sept 6, 8:30-9:30 am

Come help tidy up UUFG’s pollinator garden while learning more about native plants, weeds, and pollinators. We’ll have expert help from Bee City and the Florida Native Plant Society to identify and remove weeds. The garden is flourishing, but grass and unwanted weeds do invade!

Things to know:
~ The garden will be shaded at that time
~ Wear closed shoes (there are occasional ants)
~ Bring water/beverage, preferably in a reusable container
~ We’ll have some tasty refreshments
~ Bring gardening gloves if you have them

We will also install a low wire border fence to delineate the garden and make it easier to mow the surrounding ground.
