As we step into a new season of learning, growth and transformation, join us for our Backpack Blessing. Whether you’re heading back to school, starting a new project or simply entering the fall with fresh intentions, this service will ground us in the joy of discovery and the strength of community. Together, we’ll reflect on the courage it takes to face the unknown and celebrate the many unexpected ways we learn and grow throughout the year. Children, youth, and students of all ages are encouraged to bring their backpacks to receive a charm to carry with them – and all are welcome to bring open hearts.

James Chase, our Director of Lifespan Faith Development, speaks from our Fellowship’s pulpit, and Sheila Bishop serves as worship associate. Our “Casual Choir” sings, accompanied on piano by Jane Kozhevnikova.
