There are many murky shades of loneliness affecting people from all walks of life, from the young to the elderly, the married to the single and the sick to the healthy. Most of us are embarrassed to admit how alone and ignored we feel, believing we “shouldn’t feel” this awful emptiness and abandonment or the wrenching ache of disconnection. Join us as we explore the growing epidemic of loneliness, the pain it causes and the remedies we all can offer. UUFG member Patrice Roth is in our Fellowship’s pulpit, and Sue Boone serves as worship associate. James Chase, Director of Lifespan Faith Development, reads our story for all ages, and Tane’ DeKrey provides musical accompaniment.
