The Things That Scare Us

As the nights grow longer and the veil between worlds grows thin, we turn toward the things that frighten us – and discover what they have to teach. From the ancient fires of Samhain to the laughter of Halloween, humanity has always met fear not just with courage, but with celebration. Join us as we explore how our emotions – even fear – can be sacred guides toward balance, connection, and light. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume or Samhain harvest clothing and experience this collaboration between our Youth and our Sacred Oak CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) group. Sheila Bishop serves as worship associate, and our Chalice Choir sings under the direction of Tane’ DeKrey.
