Sunday worship will be a special treat as we will be telecasting live the Worship Service from General Assembly, the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists. The morning celebration will be a powerful and communal experience—the largest annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists in worship. As a result, the service starts at 11am and will last until 12:30, but feel free to leave as you need.
The speaker is The Rev. Jen Youngsun Ryu (she/her), the minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene, OR. Born in Seoul and raised in Ohio, she found Unitarian Universalism as a young adult in Baltimore and was drawn to a faith that honors both the tough mind and the tender heart. This year she celebrates the 20th anniversary of her ordination with a steady conviction that our liberal faith, practiced with honesty and love, changes lives for the good.
