The Gospel According to Dolly and Transgender Day of Awareness

What Can Dolly Parton teach us about radical acceptance? Quite a lot, it turns out. With rhinestones, humor, generosity, and an unapologetic commitment to being herself, Dolly built an extrodinary ability to connect across differences. This service explores what her example might teach Unitarian Univeralists about, inherent worth, authentic belonging, and the radical practise of making room for one another – without asking anyone to become less of who they are.

This Sunday, Erin Parish is in our Fellowship’s pulpit, and Anna Deyle serves as worship associate. Our Chalice Choir sings a medley of Dolly Parton songs under the direction of Tane’ DeKrey.
