If we don’t know where we are going, any road might get us there.  So if we come to a fork in the road, we take it.  Then we meet ourselves coming and going.  Without a plan, we spin our wheels.

Strategic planning is an on-going and dynamic process.  Birthing, refining, tuning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, adjusting, expanding, and deleting are some of the many actions available to us.  Yes, a plan is taken seriously. No, it is not poured in concrete.  SPC must deliver an actionable plan (or updated plan) to the board annually in May.  It is not possible to develop a comprehensive, strategic and long-term plan for the all of UUFG this year but it will come.  As all of UUFG becomes engaged in strategic planning, the goal is to create an on-going process focused on sustaining a dynamic plan to help guide us along paths chosen to meet evolving needs of current and potential members.
