Please attend. Everyone who enjoys the music program at UUFG is invited to join the Music Committee — by passing out event flyers, volunteering for an event, attending a meeting or two, or by joining the committee outright. It doesn’t take musical talent to be a part of the music committee, it just takes appreciation of the music program.

Among the topics to be discussed are the committee’s goals and plans for the new year, including a continuing discussion about a recommendation recently brought to the committee — a music internship program. In exchange for some monetary compensation and experience, interns would lead the various choir sections. This is a program that works well for other congregations, including several local churches.
